If you are dealing with an injury or illness or if you simply have become attached to your body and want it to last you a lifetime, you can't afford to neglect your health. Believe me, I know!
It has now been 30 years since my injury and the importance of caring for my body has only increased as I deal with the effects of aging on my already compromised body. The quality of my life becomes quickly stunted if I don't exercise and keep abreast of supplements and vitamins which support my optimal health. In fact, I obtained a certificate in nutrition in order to be able to make wise choices where supplementation is concerned and to be able to make educated decisions regarding product effectiveness.

We live in exciting times with more information on wellness and nutrition available to us than ever before. It is now common knowledge that many diseases can result from or become worsened by poor nutritional choices, poor absorption of nutrients due to digestive problems or food quality and of inefficient elimination of waste products. If digestion or elimination are compromised, the body will have an increasingly difficult time maintaining its naturally healthy balance and a disease process can be set in motion. Think of it like dominoes. Our bodily functions are all inter-related. When you start to have problems in one area, particularly chronic problems, it doesn't take long for other problems to get set in motion. When this happens, more disease and more complications can develop. This is an oversimplification of disease, but is true none the less. Medical evidence continues to mount that proper nutrition aids in the prevention and possible reversal of these secondary complications of disabling injury or disease. Wise use of supplements can be a life-changing option.

One downside of all the information available to us is overwhelm. We have too much information and too many choices! How do you know where to start with a good nutritional program? How do you stick with a regimen once you have one? If you are interested in maximizing your health, I can offer skilled nutritional advice. Tailored to the individual and with approval from your primary physician, my credentialed and experienced input can be of great benefit in assisting you in developing an appropriate supplementation program.
