Do you feel anxious or irritable?
What are anxiety disorders?
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It helps one deal with a tense situation in the office, study harder for an exam, and keep focused on an important speech. In general, it helps one cope. But when anxiety becomes an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, it has become a disabling disorder.
The 5 major types of anxiety disorders are:
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Panic Disorder
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Social Phobia (or Social Anxiety Disorder)

I just returned from an International Symposium speaking to over 110 of the world's top researchers. Eighteen different countries were in attendance. Talk about nervous! Nevertheless, through intense mind work and concentration techniques, I was able to come to center, focus, and the presentation went extremely well!

Living in the Now
To slow down your life, practice the discipline of living in the moment. Enjoy one moment after another. As human beings, we get so caught up in the future or thinking about the past, when all we really have is the moment. It's a funny thing life, but your past and future are all created in the present moment. How often do you pretend to live in the moment, but you are not really present. It's as if your mind keeps willing you to think about the future or distract you with other thoughts.
